Cheapest 100K 2-Step Prop Firm Challenges 2026

Cheapest 100K 2-Step Prop Firm Challenges in 2026

We priced the 100K two-step challenge on 17 prop firms' own websites. Once refunds, discount codes and rules are counted, the cheapest sticker is rarely the cheapest challenge.

Last updated 18 September 2026 · Prices and rules checked on each firm’s own website

The price on the button is the least useful number

GOAT Funded Trader lists its 100K two-step at $478. A 45% code runs across the whole site, and the firm’s own pricing script treats that discount as the default. Almost nobody pays $478. The going rate is $262.90.

That tells you most of what you need to know about prop firm pricing. The list price is an anchor. What you pay depends on the week you buy, and what the challenge really costs depends on something else again: whether you ever see the fee back.

We checked the standard 100K two-step challenge on the websites of 17 prop firms on 18 September 2026. Ten gave us a US dollar price we could verify from the firm’s own pricing page, checkout or help centre. The other seven are covered further down, with the reason we couldn’t rank them.

How we priced them

Every figure below comes from the firm’s own site. We took the undiscounted list price, then noted any code that was live on the day. Refund terms, drawdown and consistency rules come from each firm’s help centre or rules page. Where a firm sells two versions of a 100K two-step, both are listed.

We haven’t used third-party price lists. Some we looked at were months out of date or plainly wrong when we checked them against the firms’ own checkouts.

What you’ll pay this week

Six of those ten firms were running codes on 18 September, and they reshuffle the table.

GOAT drops to $262.90 with GFT45. TradersYard’s WELCOME30 takes new customers to $349.30. FXIFY’s CHART30 brings its Two Phase to about $384.30 until 1 October. FundedFast is $399.20 with RESET20 through September. ICFunded’s COLDSTART knocks 30% off in September, taking the most expensive challenge on the list to about $482.30. Blueberry offers existing customers 30% off with PRIME30.

Codes expire, and they come back. If a firm runs 30% off most months, it has a list price that exists mainly to make the discount look generous. If you’ve just missed one, there’s rarely a reason to pay full price. Wait for the next.

The refund is worth more than the discount

Here’s the part most price comparisons leave out. If you pass and get paid, a fee that’s refunded with your first payout means the challenge cost you nothing.

On our list, FundedFast, FunderPro Classic, FXIFY’s Two Phase and FundedNext’s Stellar 2-Step all hand the fee back with the first payout. FXIFY only does so if the account is in profit at the time; FunderPro credits it within seven days of your first reward.

Others make you wait. FundedNext Stellar Lite, The Trading Pit and ICFunded refund on the third payout. The Trading Pit used to refund on the first, and moved to the third for accounts bought from 29 April 2026. GOAT refunds on the fourth. A fourth-payout refund only reaches traders who last that long.

Some never refund at all. Fintokei’s ProTrader fee is a one-off cost. TradersYard only refunds within 14 days, and only if you haven’t placed a trade. Blueberry’s refund policy says all purchases are final, while one of its own blog pages says the fee is typically refunded with the first payout. Ask them in writing before you buy.

Put two of the cheapest side by side. GOAT at $262.90 against FundedFast at $399.20. Fail the challenge and GOAT saved you $136.30. Pass and take one payout, and FundedFast has cost you nothing while GOAT is still $262.90 down until your fourth payout. Which one is cheaper depends entirely on whether you think you’ll pass.

Cheap for a reason

A lower price usually buys you less room, or more rules.

FundedNext’s Stellar Lite is the cheapest sticker at $399.99, and it’s $130 cheaper than the firm’s own Stellar 2-Step. The difference is a 4% daily and 8% maximum loss instead of 5% and 10%. On a 100K account you’re saving $130 and giving up $2,000 of room. It also pushes the refund back to the third reward.

TradersYard’s $499 comes with a 40% consistency rule switched on by default. Taking it off costs another 10%, and the fee is never refunded.

FundedFast’s refund terms are generous, but read the rest. There’s a 50% consistency rule that raises your target if one day does too much of the work, a 3% cap on risk per trade that terminates the account if breached, a ban on trades opened and closed inside 15 seconds, and no trading five minutes either side of major news.

FXIFY’s maximum loss trails your closed-balance high until you’re 10% up, then locks. That’s harder than a static limit early on. Its Classic static version costs the same $549 but loses the refund and adds a 25% consistency rule on the funded account.

The Trading Pit’s 8% maximum loss trails your end-of-day balance on accounts bought since 29 April 2026.

GOAT’s low entry price carries a $3,000 daily profit cap once you’re funded, with anything above it deducted. Your first two payouts are capped at 6% of the account or $10,000, whichever is lower, and there’s a 3% processing fee on payouts.

Blueberry charges $650 on MT5 or DXtrade and $812 for the identical challenge on TradeLocker. That’s $162 for your choice of platform.

The firms we couldn’t rank

FTMO prices its 100K two-step at €540 (€439 on promotion), in euros only. The fee is refundable with your first reward, the loss limits are 5% and 10% static, and there’s no consistency rule on the two-step.

BrightFunded also prices in euros: €477 for the 2-Step Bright and €497 for the Classic. Neither has a consistency rule, but the fee is only refunded if you pay for the refund add-on.

The5ers‘ own High Stakes page shows $405 and $455 for its two 100K versions. Its FAQ, updated on 14 September, uses $545 as the price of a 100K account, and the page and FAQ disagree on the loss limits too. Until The5ers reconciles its own numbers, we won’t print one.

FundingPips and Funded Trading Plus block automated checks and we couldn’t read a price from either firm’s own site. We won’t use third-party figures for a price comparison.

Funded Trading Plus’s Activation Account is worth knowing about anyway. It costs $4 to start and $489 when you pass at 100K. The cost hasn’t gone anywhere; it has moved to the day you pass.

The only 100K price we could find on Alpha Capital‘s own site was $427 for Alpha Pro 6%, in a June blog post. That version has 3% daily and 6% maximum loss limits, and its evaluation fees are never refunded. E8 Markets no longer sells a standard two-step challenge.

Our verdict

If you want the least cash at risk, GOAT’s 2-Step GOAT at $262.90 is the cheapest way into a 100K two-step right now. Static 10% maximum loss, no consistency rule. Accept that the fee is gone unless you make it to payout four.

If you expect to pass, FundedNext’s Stellar 2-Step at $529.99 is the better buy. Targets of 8% and 5%, static 5% and 10% limits, no consistency rule on the evaluation, and the fee comes back with your first reward. Watch its 3% maximum risk per trade. FundedFast at $399.20 this month is the cheaper route to a first-payout refund, provided you can live with its 50% consistency rule and 3% per-trade cap.

The cheapest challenge is the one you pass. The second cheapest is the one that pays you back.

FAQ

What is the cheapest 100K prop firm challenge?

On list price, FundedNext’s Stellar Lite at $399.99 was the cheapest verified 100K two-step on 18 September 2026. With discount codes applied, GOAT Funded Trader’s 2-Step GOAT was cheaper at $262.90. Cheapest isn’t the same as best value: Stellar Lite has tighter loss limits and GOAT only refunds the fee on your fourth payout.

Do prop firms refund the challenge fee?

Many do, but the timing varies more than the price. FundedFast, FunderPro, FXIFY and FundedNext’s Stellar 2-Step refund with the first payout. The Trading Pit, ICFunded and Stellar Lite refund on the third, GOAT on the fourth. Fintokei ProTrader and TradersYard don’t refund once you’ve traded.

Are prop firm discount codes worth using?

Yes. On 18 September, six of the ten firms we priced had codes running, worth between 20% and 45% off. If you’ve just missed one, it’s usually worth waiting for the next rather than paying list price.

Is a cheaper prop firm challenge harder to pass?

Often. The cheapest versions tend to have tighter loss limits, a consistency rule or a trailing drawdown. FundedNext’s Stellar Lite is $130 cheaper than its Stellar 2-Step and gives you $2,000 less room on a 100K account.

Why does the same challenge cost more on some platforms?

Some firms price by platform. Blueberry Funded’s Prime 2-Step 100K is $650 on MT5 or DXtrade and $812 on TradeLocker. Check the price for the platform you’ll actually use.
